However, treasury yields continue to rise: 30-year -0.44%. 10-yr -0.11%. 5-yr -0.01%.

Crude +0.41% to $67.98. Gold -0.68% to $1,324.00.

Winners

BA +4.2% crushes estimates, lifts EPS outlook.

CMCSA +2.7% swings from loss to gain amid earnings beat, as continuing gains in broadband customers offset cable TV declines, and cost cuts helped EPS growth that hit 24.5%.

ANTM +6.2% after reporting Q1 EPS of $5.41 beats by $0.50. Revenue of $22.34B (+0.1% Y/Y) misses by $180M.

HRB +5.4% after ER beats.

TXN +4.7% after ER beats. However, it failed to lift Semiconductor sector, SOXX -0.1%, AMD -3.8%, NVDA -2.1%, WDC -0.6%.

Losers

LC -15%: the FTC has filed a complaint against LendingClub, charging the company with misleading consumers.

TWTR -2.4% falls into red after jumping 14% in pre-market. Q1 EPS of $0.16 beats by $0.05. Revenue of $665M (+21.3% Y/Y) beats by $57.44M. The nose-dive is due to softer guidance and warning for the year ahead on its earnings call.

GE -4.3%. Moody’s revises its outlook on the company’s ratings to negative. Shareholders vented their frustration with GE's poor performance at John Flannery in his first annual meeting as CEO; shares have slumped 43% since Flannery took over on 8/1/2017. Also on news: Danaher (NYSE:DHR +0.4%) recently expressed interest in a deal for General Electric's (NYSE:GE) life sciences business, but GE did not engage and is not interested in a deal, WSJ reports. A deal could gave been valued at more than $20B.

GT -5.1% despite ER beats.

COF -4.8% as it missed rev.

GD -3.4% as it missed rev. It also drags down other defense stocks: NOC -2.6% (ER beats though), RTN -2.3%, LMT -2.1%..

PayPal (PYPL -1.7%) Q1 EPS of $0.57 beats by $0.03. Revenue of $3.69B (+23.8% Y/Y) beats by $100M. Shares +3.1% in AH.

EBAY -0.5%: Q1 EPS of $0.53 in-line. Revenue of $2.58B (+12.2% Y/Y) misses by $10M. Shares -4% amid light guidance. 

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD -3.8%): Q1 EPS of $0.11 beats by $0.02. Revenue of $1.65B (+39.8% Y/Y) beats by $80M. Shares +9% in AH.

Qualcomm (QCOM -0.4%): Q2 EPS of $0.80 beats by $0.10. Revenue of $5.2B (-13.2% Y/Y) beats by $10M. Shares +2.6% in AH.

Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG +1.9%): Q1 EPS of $2.13 beats by $0.56. Revenue of $1.15B (+7.5% Y/Y) in-line. Shares +9.6% in AH.

The Cheesecake Factory (CAKE +0.5%): Q1 EPS of $0.56 misses by $0.12. Revenue of $590.69M (+4.8% Y/Y) beats by $3.76M. Shares -4.8%.

Boston Beer (SAM -0.5%): Q1 EPS of $0.55 beats by $0.25. Revenue of $190.46M (+17.8% Y/Y) beats by $14.57M.
